What is Kung Fu?
Kung fu is a common term for the many styles of Martial arts originating in China. Chinese Martial Arts encompass a diverse and varied set of martial arts that have many different strategies and styles. From performance-oriented Modern Wushu, to the more practical and martial practice of Eagle Claw Kung Fu, or the balanced and internal focus of Taiji Quan (Tai Chi), Chinese Martial Arts has something for everyone. At Shaolin Kung Fu Center of Hadley, our curriculum was developed to offer the student a broad understanding of kung fu, rooted in a solid foundation in the basics, and moving towards more complex movements and concepts.

My daughter loves the kung fu classes at Shaolin Kung Fu Center in Hadley, and in fact recently advanced from little dragons to juniors, so now she goes twice a week.
She is one of those students that really appreciates the gentle but strict style of teaching, since she gains confidence by being told what to do and succeeding in doing it, and getting acknowledged for it.
The teachers have often complimented her on her "ability to focus" which make her and and her parents very proud.
I love watching Allie practice her punches, kicks, and crab walks, at home. Particularly the punches. I can't imagine anyone messing with her !
